HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Cake Babes is a home-based business, not a public storefront, and therefore most business is conducted online via email, facebook, or over the phone. If you would like to place an order, please send an email or fill out the request a quote form and include as much detail as possible. Once a quote is given, a 50% deposit is required to book. Please note that your date is not secured until this deposit is paid.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU REQUIRE?
4 to 6 weeks notice is recommended for celebration cakes, although orders can sometimes be accepted in less time, so please do inquire even if you are past the recommended time frame. Don't forget our line of Cake Cuties is available with as little as 3 days notice!
WHEN DO I PICK UP MY ORDER?
Be sure to place your order for the date you want to pick it up. All sweets are prepared as close to the pick up date as possible, and most likely will not be ready if you decide last minute that you want to pick up a day early. Pick up dates cannot be changed with less than 7 days notice. Please note that it is recommended (especially during warmer weather) that you pick up the day of your event. Cake Babes is not responsible for any damage done should the cake not be stored properly.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY ORDER?
Pick up is on Portland Street, in Dartmouth. Once an order is placed, you will be provided with exact pick up details. Delivery is available for an extra charge, during certain days/times.
HOW/WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
Email transfer to email@example.com is preferred, however cash, credit cards (over the phone or in person), and Pay Pal are also accepted. A 50% deposit is required to book an order. The remaining 50% is due on pick up. Please have cash or credit ready, or if you are paying electronically please be sure to send it in advance of pick up. Orders will not be released without payment in full.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE MY ORDER?
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, so if you need to cancel your order, you do forfeit your deposit. If you need to reschedule your order, every attempt will be made to accommodate your new date, however if it cannot be accommodated, it will be classed as a cancelled order.
